Had 2 of these 1960's one coupe, one roadster. XK150S. Called them my sports car trucks! Lovely vehicles. They had one very serious issue....which I experienced first hand. Had a wheel bearing seize up. Snapped off the right front wheel. Not a serious issue....IF....that didn't effect the hydrolic brakeline! Lost all ability to brake, as well as steer....all the while coming down a hill, toward a T intersection!!! Only thing that saved my life, was the right stem dug into the ground, I turned hard right, and pull the emergency brake. .....Sold it after that little fiasco. But STILL one of my favorites. 😊

As I have said in the past, just because the Italians style a car, doesn't make it a beautiful car. There are a lot of early hideous Ferrari's, yes, not all Ferrari's are beautiful. This is an example of such hit & miss styling. It's interesting but it's not better than the original 😆

Absolutely marvelous project. Don't forget that it was and is perfectly useable on normal roads and in traffic. We got near the 200 target so knew it was on - delighted that it finally made it even though it took over 40 years. Great job by the new owner and the restoration team and of course the original team. A great privilege to be involved both then and (peripherally) now. Keith Martin - original project manager (and tester !).

I remember seeing it on the back of a lorry going south on the A3, shortly after I heard it had been sold abroad in the early 80's.

Absolutely the most exotic car of my youth. Purchased mine from the very small Jaquar dealer in Charleston, West Virginia as the 2nd owner in 1967. Mine was racing green with red leather interior. I had just turned 20 years old and was king of the world !

The 120 FHC was a masterpiece of beautiful lines and minimal adornment. The Pininfarina reminds me of a middle aged woman trying too hard to look young.

Callum didn’t ‘design’ that machine, he simply modified the original. I’m the owner of an original and unmolested Mk.2, and am completely unmoved by these alterations.

Stunning car and nice to get a walk around. Being a fan of classic cars this is something i can appreciate. Shame about the background it was filmed against as its very distracting and the walk around, to me, was a little broken. Being a drone video pilot and editor we see these things. A go-pro mounted with a forward view would have been a much better option for the test drive and also a decent DSLR with 4K for the video.

Give me the original any day... change for change sake very rarely works.

Fantastic car. Crap video. No beautiful engine sound or exhaust note. Whole video has rubbish background music. Too many clever camera angles. Someone obviously went mad in the editing suite.
